This is a smart phone operated system used to unlock a garage door as long as there is an internet connection.
It uses my own hardware design, inexpensive MCU, and has control over an off-grid solar power inverter. The controller can control two doors and detect the state of each. It can also report the current battery voltage and ambient temperature.
The system can also be set to save power and open at a specified time in order to extend the battery life to many months of use without sunlight. All of this is controllable from a custom iOS app.
